General Enquiries

As part of our Civic Handbook we list the events that are held annually by the Mayor. We also list the approximate cost of each event. I would like to ask if other councils list the cost involved?

We wouldn't list the costs due to the variables involved. It goes without saying that value for money is always considered and thought given as to whether the event will continue, year on year, due to its value that it brings to the local community or whether it has developed into a habit. The costs should be kept available, as they could be subject to an FOI request.
